Well, I am getting back around to practicing on my modeling and texturing. Hopefully I am getting better at both. I know for sure I need to work on speed as well, but for now I am trying to get my technique together. I have to learn a skill before I can do it quickly. I will try to focus on small items since I can complete those quicker.

Well, I haven't posted as many pictures from my paleo class as I had anticipated and with my last lab being over (which is where most of my sketches were done) I suppose this is it.  However, I blame constantly having to work on labs and then being too sick of working on labs to do nicer sketches. Maybe once the next semester starts, I will take time to do more sketches aside from any classes I take and I'll have some nicer sketches to show.

On an happy note, I can say that my drawing skills are really improving and now I don't have to run and hide when someone asks me to take up pencil and paper for something other than writing.

Well,  I guess I couldn't wait to post my newest paleo sketches, but that's partially because I am pretty excited about the big jump in quality that my sketches have made. Anywho, I'll be posting my good sketches from class as I can get them up. :3

Well, I don't know where exactly this drive to sketch is coming from but starting with my Paleontology class, I've been not only sketching but actually wanting to do it. So far they are turning out half way decent so when I finish the class I will be able to post some of them. Hopefully, this new sketching phase represents an artistic growth stage and not just a passing moment of uncharacteristic artistic expression.

Well, here I am finally doing it. I've considered joining deviant art for goodness knows how long, but now I've done it. What finally brings me to this point is the fact that getting a job the normal way seems to fail spectacularly for me, so now I am forced to find alternative ways to make some money. There is no guarantee that anyone will ever like my art enough to buy it but who knows... Perhaps I will finally hit my stride in selling art.
